Welcome to HUX Journal!
For our first post, we wanted to introduce the Huxbaby brand and product, focusing on our commitment to organic cotton and sustainability.
Huxbaby was born out of the sheer need for trendy yet minimalistic designs for kids with an adult-like sense of style. We want kids to be kids, have fun, but not feel limited in their ability to express through fashion. This is why our products have been carefully designed to be both modern and functional, with a focus on minimalism.
You will notice our designs are inspired by simple, gender-neutral principles that combat the gender norms, giving children full style freedom. Offering parents flexibility, gender-neutral outfits encourage a culture where the sharing and exchanging between genders is simple. Not only does this provide convenience but we want to help reduce the impact from garment disposal, encouraging maximum wear for each individual item.
At Huxbaby we care about the environment and the health of our little ones and this is why we are committed to using GOTS certified 100% organic cotton. The Global Organic Textile Standard is a strict international standard of requirements that ensure textiles used are environmentally and socially responsible, from the harvesting of raw materials to finished products. We want all little ones to be safe from unnecessary exposure to toxic chemicals and this is why all our products are free from AZO dyes and our prints are hand printed using non-toxic, environmentally friendly ink.
Founded in 2014 by Elad and Jennifer, Huxbaby has seen expansion into the international market. To learn more about the family behind the brand, stay tuned for our future posts featuring Co-Founders, Elad and Jennifer.
